Nokia 2.1, Nokia 5.1, Nokia 3.1 3GB RAM Variant Launched in India
Nokia 2.1, a new variant of Nokia 3.1, and Nokia 5.1 were launched in India on Thursday. Nokia licensee HMD Global is expected to launch the Nokia 6.1 Plus or Nokia 5.1 Plus in India later this month, but ahead of the event, the company has added three new handsets in its India lineup. The three smartphones, also known as Nokia 2 (2018), Nokia 3 (2018), and Nokia 5 (2018), are the successors to the Nokia 2, Nokia 3, and Nokia 5. The smartphones will be available from August 12
Toyota Etios Liva Limited Edition Launched With Red Accents
Toyota has launched a limited edition of the Etios Liva hatchback in India. The new limted edition variant of the car will be available only in a white and black two tone paintjob but with get red accents all around. While the Toyota Etios Liva with a two tone paintjob has been available for a while now. Petrol variant is priced at Rs 6.50 lakh while the diesel variant is priced at Rs 7.65 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The limited edition will be available only on the VX variants.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 launch scheduled for August 9th
Galaxy Tab S4 is touted to be slimmer than the previous model, it has narrower bezels and it gets a large 10.5-inch super AMOLED screen. To enhance the viewer experience, the device has also been equipped with four pod speakers. It is available in 64GB and 256GB models and memory is expandable up to 400GB and is powered by 7,300mAh battery. The WiFi version of the Tab S4 will be available in the US starting at $649.99 on August 10th, 2018, on Amazon, Best Buy and Samsung.com.
WhatsApp Launches Group Video and Voice Calling Feature
Instant messaging service WhatsApp has announced users can now make group calls to up to four people by starting a one-on-one voice or video call, and then tapping the add participant button in the top right corner of the app to add another contact to the call. Video calls have been supported by WhatsApp since 2016, but until now they were limited to two participants. The app is now starting to add group video calling to its iOS and Android app and it supports up to four people.
Samsung to Launch Foldable Phone Smartphone Next Year 2019
Samsung is working on a foldable smartphone that might be introduced early next year, according to The Wall Street Journal. This phone will reportedly feature a 7-inch display that can bend in half to transform it into a wallet shape. This phone could cost more than $1,500 and would first be marketed toward niche users, like gamers. As per the Wall Street Journal, the upcoming "Winner" smartphone when folded will have a small display on one side of the exterior and cameras on the other.
